Fiat Panda 100 HP / Video - Test Drive After three years, Fiat Panda is now back with its new proposal of 100 horsepower! Many people surely remember 500 Abarth, the legendary aggressive car whose roaring post engine was in strong contrast with the everyday-use nature of the car. After many years, the same contrast is now created again, this time in a Fiat car: Fiat Panda, which reminds us good past times of years '50! Performances New Fiat Panda 100 HP is a citycar with improved performances, but still cheap. With its higher dimensions, this car has conquered the preferences of young and dynamic customers, as great sales results show us both in Italy and Europe. Panda 100 HP is a sports car with a definately great engine, a 1.4-litres 4 cc naturally-aspirated unit, which offers an output of 100 hp at 6000 RPM. With its light structure, Fiat Panda 100 HP has a maximum speed of 185 Km/h, and it can go from 0 to 100 in 9,5 seconds. Interesting performances, therefore, accompanied by a four-disk braking system, and by sports 195/45 tires, with 15'' alloy wheels. As far as consumptions are concerned, “bad” Panda should consumes 6,5 litres every 100 Km. Interior Panda 100 HP's design is really nice. Post smoked glasses, the subtle line on the side, and a new wheels-suspensions system make this kind car a really aggressive cretaure. Young drivers would appreciate for sure this new sports livery, for a sports look which characterizes also the interiors. Seats are very sporty, featuring lateral side bolsters, that keep the driver in the optimum seating position; moreover, the classical Panda's dashboard is renewed with new chromed frame. Good quality, suitable materials...so let's clasp the leaher steering-wheel! On the road As 500 Abarth, even Panda 100 HP shows to be quite but not too much a sports car. The engine is quick in raising power up, and it is well accompanied by a great six speed gear box, but performances are not the same of a supercars. Panda 100 HP still remains a citycar, even if quite aggressive, with power enough to get fun without asking too high performances. Anyway, Fiat Panda 100 HP is a protagonist on tough and winding roads, thanks to harder suspension and good tires, while the braking system is very safe and suitable for aggressive driving. In conclusion, Fiat Panda 100 HP is a really nice and funny citycar: the exhaust sounds great, while sporty suspension and powerful braking are accompanied by a roomy and comfortable cab.
