As usual, Infomotori.co.uk is glad to sometimes offer you some personal impressiona and ideas about hypothetical new future car models. We like to use our imagination to wander about different kind of possible vehicles, and aour design departement is very keen in creating new imaginative proposals and solutions: in brief, we like looking at the future.
The present Fiat's development is clear: the new Panda, new Bravo, new 500, the whole new Fiat Professional range set, Doblò, Ducato, Scudo and Fiat Grande Punto together represent the result of this new rebirth of the iyalian car manufacturer.
Today we want to suggest you another of our graphic impressions: a Fiat Grande Punto Station Wagon. The Italian Family car gets longer, maybe it could be properly named something like "Fiat Grandissima Punto ", which in Italian literary means "Fiat Very Big Punto).
'Fiat Grandissima Punto' Of course design is still the same, the family feeling is always the same both at the front and at the rear, while dimensions change, such as the bodywork's design. The most important changement concern the rear, which looks much longer. The interior space could be raise up from 275 to 475, with a top room of 1350 litres when rear seats are down.
Powetrain: MultiJet As far as the powertrain is concerned, we can be sure "our" Fiat Grande Punto SW should be powered by the already much appreciated 1.3 MJT, which can offer both 75 hp and 90 hp, and also the great 1.9 MJT of 120 hp, maybe with a further version of 130 hp. In terms of fuel, all fuel units could be the same of the present fuel set, maybe except for the entry level, as the 1.2 of 65 hp could be replaced by the 1.4 of 77 hp, with 1.4 16V and 95 CV. And waht is more, also a 1.6 litres 16V could be employed, for an horsepower output of 105 CV.
