China is quick to learn…

Many new proposals are coming from East, as Chinese market runs on and on. The 2006 Beijing (Peking) Motor Show reflects this great Asian empire’s improvement, which shows an incredible vivacity.
The last year production of cars in China raised up to the 12%,after many years of even higher development, that shows us how Chinese market keeps on speading.
FAW car manufatcurer, a real giant and one of the main car manufacturer, now introduces its new
FAW Haima S1, an interesting sports car with shapes that follow worldwide standards, and which therefore shows to aim selling also outside China.

Design
FAW Haima S1 is a coupè for every pocket, and its shape is cutting-edge and aggressive enough to be appreciate by a preatty young public. The front is very nice: big tapered lights, a nice radiator grill shape (maybe only too similar to Opel’s one), a low front bumper, therefore definately a dynamic design on its whole. The side is quite high; on the other hand the rear recall us other Asian vehicles, but it still keeps a balanced shape and design. Wheel’s color is definately weird, European customers won’t accept it easily. The cab shows the classical 2+2 structure, but we do not have any pictures to look at the interior yet.

Engine and future

We do not know anything about the engine available in this model yet, and we also do not know if
FAW Haima S1 will ever come into Europe, but what is certain is that price is expected to be very competitive, to challenge successfully all the other competitors.
