pasubio – Leather seats
The new Peugeot 607 represents an important goal for the french Manufacturer, the result obtained by using the best of its technological know-how and taking care of all details with great attention. The same philosophy was followed in collecting components as well as in selecting their suppliers. Comfort and quality of its leather seats, produced by Conceria Pasubio Spa, are to be listed among 607 most positive features, testifing the success of the union between Peugeot and Pasubio, the only italian tannery with both ISO 9002 and ACSQ 94 certification (car industry regulation), Peugeot official supplier for 15 years, producing also leathers utilized on 406 Coupè. Among the features of the new 607, no need to say leathers provided for coverings are best quality products manufactured by Conceria Pasubio and proceeded from european cattles, to grant the lowest presence of natural defects such as scratches or wrinkles. All processing phases are carefully studied to preserve leather’s natural features like resistance to damages and wear, and to improve resistance against aging but also to facilitate cleaning, thanks to special resins: this is how Conceria Pasubio can grant a constant quality during the years. Every production stage is executed always taking into consideration the natural environment, since from 1997 Pasubio considerably decreased the use of solvents and completely eliminated toxic products’ utilization. Before being used to manufacture car seats, all leathers are submitted to the strict inspections required by Peugeot specifications to grant their quality: then leathers can be used to cover the comfortable and luxurius interiors of the new Peugeot 607.
