diesel and coupè-cabriolet: a perfect mix
Bologna – We had the pleasure to make a long test drive with the beautiful and versatile Volvo C70 D5 with automatic gear. This car is many cars in one: a comfortable coupè good for any season, even the worst Winter. An elegant convertible with good protection from air turbolence. The powerful diesel engine features 180 hp and good torque. The retractable hard top is an engineering masterpiece. Looking at the car transforming from coupè to cabriolet is a little show, that attracted the attention of many pedestrians during our test. Volvo C70’s interioror is really elegant and made with first quality materials.
Fascinating
During our test up and down the hills near Bologna, the five cylinders 180hp diesel engine worked great: this sophisticated unit exalted driving pleasure in any situation. The automatic gear with sequential option perfectly collaborated with the engine. Brand new suspensions assure safe and comfortable driving, with a pleasing sport attitude. Volvo C70’s design is as good as its dynamic performances: the bodywork made by famous italian designer Pininfarina is posh and pretty aggressive at the same time. Instead of many others coupè-cabriolet, this Volvo is beautiful with the hard top closed too. We would like to drive every single day such fascinating cars!
